"Twilight Dreams"
The precious space between night and day,
between waking and dreaming ...and dreaming and waking.
Where anything is possible. And the visions come.
...if you let them.
Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas within a floater frame 22" x 26" $950
"Trinity"
"Trinity For Eternity" is what a friend named it.
Though rather simple, it is a piece that invites
further interpretation. The colors are bright and happy,
even soothing for the most part.
But the red below is deep and dark.
The bison have narrowly escaped the
deep abyss they have walked along.
Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, 18" x 24" $750 SOLD.
"Made Sacred"
"The buffalo represents the people
and the universe and should always be treated
with respect, for was he not here before the two-legged
peoples, and is he not generous in that he gives us
our homes and our food? The buffalo is wise in many
things, and, thus, we should learn from him
and should always be a relative with him."
- Oglala Sioux holy man Black Elk
Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, 24" x 30" $1200
"Shiny Things"
"Raven stole the sun from a box
where it was hidden and made the moon
and stars from it..."
Acrylic with resin and nails, 11" x 14" gallery wrapped canvas $350
"Crow Horses"
Crow horses were revered
for their beauty and speed. As such they were coveted
by other tribes to enhance their own horse herds. This mixed media
piece incorporates my photograph of the Stampede Ranch paints - decorated
as Crow beauties with feathers, painted symbols and enhanced with bronze nails.
Written are words sung by Sioux warrior Old Buffalo
about a horse raid that he led: "The Crow Indians
I look for them, I found them, so their horses I brought home."
Mixed media on gallery wrapped canvas, 18" x 20" $700 SOLD
"Crow
